Audition Master Class

 

What can I expect from this class?

This ongoing 4-hour class is meant for students who have already taken some of my classes and want to dig deeper, add more tools to their belt, and become an audition master.

While things are starting to return to normal after Covid, the casting community has made it clear that self-tapes and online auditions are not going anywhere. Even when everyone is vaccinated most offices will continue to have their first round of auditions through tapes and zoom, with in-person appointments reserved for chemistry reads, final callbacks, and network tests. Many smaller roles will still be cast off tape. Since actors still need to conquer the digital audition before they can book, I decided to keep this class online. I want to create a space for you to practice your craft in the format that is most similar to the real audition process.

Each week you’ll prepare a new audition, and this time ANY genre of film and TV is on the table! Most of the time I will assign you specific scenes that will challenge you and help develop your skills. Once a month you will get to choose your own scene to work on. We will do a combination of self-tapes and live zoom auditions. Every week you will get to audition, watch your work, and get personalized feedback. This is the fastest way for you to see what works, and what needs work.

I will choose material to match what is currently casting, to give you the ultimate confidence in your process, in your choices, and most importantly, in bringing the best you to the table. Plus, you will have the chance to request specific things to work on, so this class will be customized to your needs!

Class size is limited to 10 so you’ll get all the personal attention you need to thrive.
